The Kansas Orchid Society meets on the third Sunday of each month       at Botanica, 701 Amidon, Wichita, KS at 2:00 p.m.

In addition to the regular business meeting, a variety of activities are included throughout the year as the Society attempts to educate and inform its members and the public about orchid culture. A partial list of activities include:

• Green Grower sessions are scheduled several times each year. These sessions are conducted by KOS members who have expertise in growing orchids and do an excellent job in sharing their knowledge.

• Guest speakers share their travel experiences to regions of the world where many orchid species originate.

• Tours provide members with opportunities to see a wide range of growing environments (one does not need a green house to grow an orchid).

• New members receive a FREE orchid plant upon attending their second KOS meeting.
